Began as a collaboration with an unnamed ghost. The vocal you can hear was the result of (years of) trying to extract a clip from a David Attenborough episode that describes detrivores super poetically. Every time I've tried to something has gone wrong, and this time instead of audio from the episode I was left with code being read by a Scottish women's text-to-speech voice...so although unintentionally created it was a good instigator to get a track going. The contrast between seemingly organic and digital sounds is very much what I'm about, and I think gives the feel of a swamp on some alien planet. The name was the only one I struggled with, and ended up settling on this as a joke with some Americans whilst travelling about the way they say internet and the internet being a rudimentary form of telepathy.
